Many of Asheville\u2019s most beloved shops and restaurants are participating by donating at least five percent of the day\u2019s sales to CSE.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jasmine Beach-Ferrara of the Campaign for Southern Equality said today:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are so grateful to all of the participating businesses for leading with their values and taking action to support our vision of a South where all LGBTQ people can thrive. Shop for Equality is an opportunity each year for the Asheville community to come together and build the future that we want and need \u2013 a future where LGBTQ people can feel affirmed, secure, safe, and free to be who they are. Our team at the Campaign for Southern Equality is ready to put the proceeds raised from Shop for Equality to work in 2020, including by offering free legal clinics, training health service providers, and providing grants to grassroots LGBTQ organizers.\u201d<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll celebrate the day-long Shop for Equality event with a <a href=\"https:\/\/southernequality-dot-yamm-track.appspot.com\/Redirect?ukey=1yea_Skblgvol3wxU6KMs1Hyj6AKB_1RDQIije3ebCqw-108973570&amp;key=YAMMID-49608584&amp;link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fevents%2F1028974054113096%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Sip for Equality Happy Hour<\/strong><\/a> at Urban Orchard (South Slope) that evening, December 10, from 7-9pm, at 24 Buxton Avenue.
